CandidateMatch ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by The Rieger Group. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our AI-powered candidate evaluation service at candidatematch.riegergroup.com.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of candidates whose information you upload to our platform.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register, we collect your email address and password. If you provide optional profile information (name, organization), we store that as well.
Job Descriptions
You upload or paste job descriptions for analysis. We process this content to generate match reports.
Candidate Materials
You upload candidate resumes and optional cover letters. These documents are processed to evaluate candidate fit and generate reports.
Usage Data
We collect anonymized usage analytics (pages visited, features used) to improve our service. This data cannot identify individual users or candidates.
Your Data Is NOT Used to Train AI Models
We do not use your job descriptions, candidate resumes, cover letters, or any user-submitted content to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models.
Your data is processed only to generate your match reports, then handled according to our retention policy below. Third-party AI models (OpenAI) are used under strict data processing agreements that prohibit training on customer data.
Data Retention and Deletion
Uploaded Documents
Resumes and cover letters are stored securely during processing and retained for 90 days to allow report regeneration. You can delete individual reports and their associated documents at any time.
Generated Reports
Match reports are stored in your account until you delete them. Deleting a report removes all associated candidate data.
Account Deletion
You can request complete account deletion by emailing privacy@riegergroup.com. We will delete all your data within 30 days.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:

Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- arrow_right AI Processing: OpenAI processes document content to generate analysis. This is governed by a data processing agreement prohibiting training use.
- arrow_right Cloud Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure hosts our service with enterprise security standards.
- arrow_right Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- check TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit

- check Azure cloud infrastructure with enterprise security certifications
- check Role-based access controls and audit logging
